More Guitar Chord Charts

Here are some new chord charts, that can easily be referenced at this website or printed.  The Very Basic Chord Chart should be used by people just getting started out, you don’t need to learn more than these chords to play the guitar.  Additionally, the Open Note Chord Chart is a nice collection of chords, as most acoustic players stay mostly playing open noted chords.

Guitar Lessons for Acoustic Guitar Players

The acoustic guitar is the best instrument you could ever learn to play.  It is one of the only instruments that doesn’t need to have other players, you can hold the audience by yourself.  Plus, you can play any style on your acoustic guitar.  Learning to play acoustic guitar will make you the most popular person at any bonfire, or dorm, or anyplace else you can show your chops.

DADGAD – Great Alternative Tuning

Definitely one of the most used alternate tunings is DADGAD.  Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd introduced this tuning into the mainstream with Kashmir, Black Mountainside, and Poles Apart from Dark Side of the Moon.

Countless other tunes originated before and after those guys, but this tuning is really one that will open up your creative juices, and just makes playing fun.
